SARA STANLEY BEAUTY SUITES is one-stop beauty bar. The design needed to be something luxurious, classy and also shabby chic. The process started with inspiration from their 3D rendering of the salon, they were looking for ideas that contained chandeliers and a shabby chic feel. View the process below. To begin I first laid out a series of mood boards to capture the theme and colors that best represented their business, these images were pulled from Google, Shutterstock, Pinterest and Creative Market. Mood board option 2 was chosen. From there I then sketched logo ideas and used Adobe Illustrator to create a series of 4 logo designs, each incorporating their name, colors, and an image mark of either a chandelier or the letter S, representing the business name. After a series of revisions, logo option 2 was chosen. We then continued onto the web design, they were looking for something simple, elegant and modern with a focus on an image. From a series of 3 designs option 2 was chosen with minor revisions. This project was an incredible learning experience. I had the opportunity to design a brand from concept to completion and interacted with our client several times from initial consultation all the way to site training for the CMS (Content Management System). I enjoyed creating this all-in-one design for this business.
